The final event of our Fall 2016 series (postponed from Jan 1st due to icy conditions)

From PaceSetter Athletic unless otherwise posted (weather dependent – will move if roads are icy again). 10am start time. Late reg starting at 9am.

All levels welcome – walk, jog, run. $5 entry.

No dogs please. Strollers welcome to start at the back.

Post race snacks and coffee, and draw prizes.

We’ll be drawing the winner of the Series Grand Prize among those who have done at least 4 of the series. Winner gets a $200 gift certificate from PaceSetter!

The opening event of our second 5-Dollar 5K Series! Start/finish at PaceSetter Athletic. Entry is just $5, or enter the whole series (5 events) for just $20. Course goes down Veterans Road and does a loop with a short trail section before coming back up Veterans. Times will be recorded and posted. Snacks and beverages for all participants. Draw prizes! Everyone who does at least 4 events in the series will have their name entered to win the grand prize of a pair of shoes (your choice)!

Day of race registration and packet pickup is from 8:00 to 8:45 am at PaceSetter Athletic.

Sea Cavalcade Mile

15th annual Sea Cavalcade Mile. Fast net downhill course to start the Sea Cavalcade parade, with cash prizes for the overall winners and medals for age group winners. Great crowd to cheer you on!

Start 100m east of Park Road, finish just before North Road.

Family-friendly entry fees
$100 each for top male & female + $50 time bonus
Age group awards and draw prizes

A scenic summer 10k run in Garden Bay from Katherine Lake to Hotel Lake and back, passing Garden Bay Lake and Mixal Lake along the way. The 3k Fun Run/Walk includes 2 of the lakes and is perfect for families. Campsite and beach at the start/finish. Age group medals, home baked goodies, draw prizes. Run the Rock Marathon, Half & 8k

Seventh Annual Marathon, Half and 8k on idyllic Texada Island, a short ferry ride from Powell River. Called the toughest marathon in Canada — come decide for yourself. Single loop course (marathon) with the half marathon using the second (easier) half of the route. Unique finisher medals made of local stone. 8k course is easy and fast with the first half being mostly downhill.
