PaceSetter is hosting a fun new run series in June and July: The Sunshine Coast Brewery Run Series!
The Canada Day 10.1k at The 101 is the second event of the series. Dress in red and white and enjoy a 10.1k route around upper Gibsons. The route will be a mix of roads and trails with 2 loop sections. First loop is a small one around the Shaw Rd/Eaglecrest neighbourhood, then head out on the big loop via Mahan Trail to Chaster, Hough, Fitchett, King, and Sunnyside (with trail connectors), then back up Mahan to finish. The perfect way to build up a thirst for a Mahan Trail Blonde Ale! Course Map

The Series:
Taking place at four local craft breweries with distances from 5k to 10k, this series of runs combines two of your favourite things: running and beer (or cider)! Entry fee includes a drink coupon. There’ll be awards for first overall male and female, and draw prizes from PaceSetter. You can register for individual events or save $ by signing up for the whole series.
Participate in at least 3 of the series events and your name will go in the grand draw for a pair of shoes from PaceSetter!
- June 17th: Persephone 5k (Gibsons)
- July 1st: Canada Day 10.1k at The 101 (Gibsons)
- July 8th: Tapworks 5k (Gibsons)
- July 15th: The Bricker 8k (Sechelt)
All ages are welcome; participants under 19 years of age will get a non-alcoholic beverage coupon. All venues are youth-friendly!
Entry fees:
- $15 per event, pre-registered or $48 for the whole series
- $20 per event, race day
Series shirts will be available for purchase at events 2, 3 and 4 or until sold out.
BC Athletics “Athlete” members get $3 discount per event. PaceSetter Athletic Run Club members get $2 off per event.
